I Didn't pay $4000

I picked up this dresser, (that I use as a buffet,) at a garage sale a couple of years ago. It has dovetailed joints, is solid wood, and is made by Drexel. I would guess it to be from the 1970's. I paid $45 for it and a matching nightstand.

Today as I was looking through a Williams Sonoma Home catalog, I saw this dresser, for $4000, that looks a lot like mine; though it does have a lovely marble top. A pretty good likeness don't you think?

I wish I could find something lie that for my dinning room! Can you have garage sale envy price? Does that even make sense?

Oh my heavens! They look almost identical! What a great buy. I would never have thought to turn it in to a buffet.

I just saw your last post on the Haeger lamps, I didn't realize that the post was from last year until after I submitted a comment. How did you make out with them??

I like yours better. That is awesome, especially for the price. Good work!
